geauxbroncos
No doubt' date=' I feel that the teams in this district can definately play with Nederland this year. They seem to be having a down year, and if you stop one person you can beat them. I feel that Crosby. and Barbers Hill have good enough defenses to beat Nederland, and I feel that GP can outscore them. Now Central and Dayton are just strong on both sides of the ball, but I feel that If our teams in this district are optimistic we can make good games of it. Last year a Crosby team that is not half as good as this one lost 14-0 to Dayton in a good ball game So we are uses to playing them.[/quote'] Hey Pride I am glad that you are proud of your coogs this year and all, but please just remember that the PNG Beat you guys this year. Your defense was not good enough to stop PNG what makes you think it woudl be good enough to stop Nederland. Good luck against the Eagles this weekend. And we will be waiting for you the next week so we can kick off your basketball season. Oh yeah check your scores from last year I think Dayton beat you guys worse than 14-

Zoneblock
Matter of fact i have but the question is have you. You see GP is simply put just not very good and yes i have seen them. So to put it out there GP would not make the play-offs in any other district except the one they are in. unless there is a weeker one somewhere close by. Guest CougarPride
Im am proud of my cougars, but any time you give up 63 points in a game, I find it hard to talk about another teams defense. Crosby played central in the first round last year and didnt allow them to score 63 points. Also looking at nederland all you see is that one player has 1750 yards of 3000 of your total yards on offense,(houston Chron.) and he missed a game. We can shut Mosely down and yes I feel that Nederland could not pass to beat us, because if you look at the stats PNG only had 20 yards passing against us and yall let them throw for 152!!! come on. YOu know that you cannot compare stats or wins or losses when it comes to the playoffs. And I really hope that the teams in your district are thinking this district is weak. And goodluck to yall also against GP because they remind me alot of Central on Offense. Their Quarteback might not be as big but he is good 4.4 speed and a cannon for a arm. He is about to commit to Texas Tech. He was choosing between Baylor and Tech that is why he has not commited yet. So Good Luck
