I wish we HAD a Beaumont area youth hockey organiztion
hockeyfan Posted November 8, 2006 Author Report Posted November 8, 2006 I believe that last season, when Ianiero won POTW, he donated the pucks to the Houston Jr. Aeros or some other Houston youth hockey organization. That's where Robert Dirk's son, Jagger, was playing at the time. I think that Jagger's team won the state championship this past season.
DenisGScott Posted November 8, 2006 Report Posted November 8, 2006 still sad we have no youth hockey here though
hockeyfan Posted November 8, 2006 Author Report Posted November 8, 2006 I agree. There are a lot of kids around here who want to play, but have to go to Houston to do so. It's either that, or go to mid-county and play in-line hockey. :?
^Gusher Fan^ Posted November 8, 2006 Report Posted November 8, 2006 Hey Guys, http://www.goldentriangleicehockey.com/ Dan has really been working hard on this. He's trying his best to make it work!
hockeyfan Posted November 8, 2006 Author Report Posted November 8, 2006 I know about that site, but it hasn't been updated since last year. It still shows that the deadline for signing up is October 15, 2005. :?
^Gusher Fan^ Posted November 8, 2006 Report Posted November 8, 2006 Oops! I haven't actually looked at it in quite a while  But, I do know that Dan has been working to get things moving. If people will bombard him with calls, he might at least be able to answer some questions :!: :?: I know he was also working on getting a new webmaster/site. Should be up sometime soon, I hope. Sorry, I was trying to be helpful!
hockeyfan Posted November 8, 2006 Author Report Posted November 8, 2006 I know that it takes time to get things started again, since we went a year without a team. And thanks for the link, it is helpful.
