They are saying that the parents made him go, they paid for it a while back and now are making him go.  Just an excuse to me.  I think he chose a cruise over the State Championship.  This are the kids we coach, wow.

Yes, #0 who scored 16 points (hit 5 three's) in the semifinal game, chose to not play in championship game and go on senior trip, cruise to Jamaica. It was the buzz down in the coaches seats where I sat.

Just one of the challenges high school coaches deal with these days.I can't imagine a kid leaving his team mates high and dry like that.I know we put too much empasis on high school sports sometimes but this is a wound that will take years to heal.Can you imagine how sweet it would have been in Jamaica in June talking about winning the state title.

Idalou won a football title also I believe so they must of had a pretty solid group.

Sat next to a coach that is friends with the Idalou coach.......said that this is only his third year as a coach. One year as an assistant and two years as a head coach. Just dont seem right...lol
