Honest Abe Posted March 19, 2011 Report Posted March 19, 2011 TABC has adjusted their Final Rankings for class 4A. Nederland is now #12 as they so deserved!
AggiesAreWe Posted March 19, 2011 Report Posted March 19, 2011 I have adjusted to reflect the change.Something told me that was a misprint.
asary Posted March 21, 2011 Report Posted March 21, 2011 Ok that makes more sense......Congrats Bulldogs!!
Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted March 22, 2011 Report Posted March 22, 2011 anybody wanna wager that Nederland will be pre-season top 20 again next season?

CThoops Posted March 22, 2011 Report Posted March 22, 2011 Oh I know the group coming up is really good and the growing pains will be a problem fixed in Summer ball, but not many coaches really know what Nederland has next
Honest Abe Posted March 22, 2011 Author Report Posted March 22, 2011 It's possible-mainly b/c they've won back-to-back district titles. I agree w/Dogs1218 though. A lot of good young talent, but will take time to get to a top 20 ranking. I DO think they will battle for the district title again, but replacing 5 starters is NEVER an easy task.
asary Posted March 22, 2011 Report Posted March 22, 2011 I actually think the younger players will play better and looser with a little less pressure (not expected to win district, not expected to go undefeated in district, etc) and it will be exciting to watch as this new group grows and develops and it becomes "their team".

Nobody intimidates them, and they have won so much, that they expect it from themselves. Once they reach their mid season stride, they'll be battling for their 3rd straight district title. They KNOW how to win!
