Really feel for you guys. Definitely not out of it by a long shot. Guys like Hunter D, Gizzi, & Stone along with the rest of the seniors will pull their guys together. I have no doubt the purple ans white will be in the playoffs. Good luck Friday boys!

Ha, don't worry purple, PNG will find their feet again, but you can't take anything away from Lumberton, 10 hits and good pitching served them well tonight.

png will be fine !! just need to get a key hit here and there . id be worried if they were getting blown out but they have lost 3 straight close games . its not brevail,seniors need to step it up and play like they are capable of sparrow doing great along with denslinger. just tough luck in the early going.sounds like a six team race for 4 playoff spots

Lumberton hit the ball. Indians had a long dry spell from the 3rd and the sticks went dead. Townsend and Bell pitched lights out.

Lumberton's catcher Tanner Arsenault re-deem himself after that ball got away in the bottom of the 7th, as he singled in the winning run. Tanner also had double early and rbi.

sounds different, i remember our defense is usually which made us win games! we never had errors usually. but oh well, its PNG  we always find a way to get ourselves into the playoffs and make a run.

I agree and get the errors down.  The district race is far from over.... Doesn't 20-4a takes 4 teams into the playoffs?

Yup. 4 teams go and as of the looks of it the cocky PNG is 0-3? uh oh. Sounds like Stone isnt lights out this year. couple hits off the wall doesnt sound to stellar.

It was not too many years ago that PNG lost seven or eight in a row just before district.  The main problem was errors.  The coaches righted the ship in time to make the playoffs and put that bad time in the history books without many even remembering it.  Brevell was on that staff that turned the snowball around.  He will do it this time as well.

No. Cant help that one of our pitchers were throwing meat balls the whole game. It would have been a different story that next tuesday but PNG coach decided it was a little moist to play when softball was playing next door.

Even if PNG beat BH 12-0. Everyone can have their bad games. 1 is a fluke but 3 in a row.... doesnt sound like a fluke to me.
