UNLV Posted March 24, 2011 Report Posted March 24, 2011 Anyone know if the Southland plan on replacing UTSA and Texas st. If so, what are they waiting on?2012 schedules need to be ready soon.
Cat79 Posted March 24, 2011 Report Posted March 24, 2011 I have seen talk on the anygivensaturday board about adding Abilene Christian and possibly Texas A & M Commerce. Out of state candidates mentioned were Delta State, Central Oklahoma and Northern Alabama.
UNLV Posted March 24, 2011 Author Report Posted March 24, 2011 Abilene Christian and Central Oklahoma would be the best option.

You still have the same # of football playing members. Now that they're gone from basketball, I think you'll see more games against Western division opponents rather than the just 2 East 1 West that has been the trend. For other sports, you'll just see a large OOC schedule.
