NorthoftheBorder Posted March 25, 2011 Report Posted March 25, 2011 As reported elsewhere and credited to Jack at BobcatReports, UTEP is listening and has not said no at this point. Don't know what this means for LU, but going to the WAC with UTEP would be a good thing IMHO!
jdcurran235 Posted March 25, 2011 Report Posted March 25, 2011 Unless they take UTEP and leave LU behind

They're the most Western location of the group.Being in the WAC would put them closer to the majority of their opponents.

WAC - 674 miles average trip - with New Mexico State being closest at only 45 miles away.CUSA - 1033 miles average trip - with SMU being closest at 575 miles. When your closest conference foe is 575 miles away it don't hurt to talk.
