Guest Jags
Who would you guys think the MVP would be in 22 4A?
Guest Penny
Williams, he's the show for Central. Mosley's right there with him, but you have to give the nod to the team who's been more impressive in my opinion. Dugat is in the mix, but in my opinion, they have too many weapons that hurt you for him to be singled out although he is a great running back. dayton
I think you're on the money Penny. If Central had moved Hall to RB sooner he might be on the list too.
GoDogs27
I disagree Penny... I think you give it to Mosley... Central has enough talent to win a game without Williams.. Yea he is great, but Mosley single-handedly wins games for Nederland... I say Mosley
SETEXFan
Hard for me to think that the District MVP would come from a third place team. Not saying he is not a good football player so don't get your panties in a wad.
Guest Penny
MVP's normally come from the best team in the district. That would be either Dayton/Central. Dayton's going to win the district, but I just think there weapons are too spread out to have an MVP... Central rode Williams back in several games. Mosely is outstanding and I put him right up there with Williams.
Zoneblock
When you say MVP you think of a kid that everyone else in the district would want on their team. I would say that kid is probably Williams from Central.
LLDad
but Mosley single-handedly wins games for Nederland... Mosley is good, no doubt, but that statement sure is tough on the rest of the team (surprising comming from you). The Gutieraz (sp????) is no one to take lightly. oh yea, my vote is for Dugat. jake94
I agree.. If you polled the entire district on which player they would most like to have, then the answer would most probably be Williams.. No argument from me on that one. Lucky
I disagree Penny... I think you give it to Mosley... Central has enough talent to win a game without Williams.. Yea he is great' date=' but Mosley single-handedly wins games for Nederland... I say Mosley[/quote'] Probably Mosley............ but you can't penalize Williams for having a good team around him, Plus Mosley has some pretty big boys blocking for him and I would argue that he does not win games all by himself. You have to get him in the secondary and he does the rest. but without a push up front NOBODY gets big yards. Look what happened in Dayton ? Zoneblock
I agree Mosley is great and arguably the best back in the area. But Williams seems to be the front runner in that District.
Lucky
We sometimes get MVP mixed up with Best player or Player of the year or whatever you want to call it, and I understand what Godogs is saying so I say: Mosley-MVP...............Best Player-Williams
Zoneblock
I dont have it mixed up MVP stands for Most Valuable Player and in my opinion that is Williams from Central. Now Mosley may get Offensive mvp but the district I think Is Williams
Lucky
Good for you zoneblock. Hey, if I got a first round pick from this district I would take Williams in a heartbeat. And if you read the "best back in SETX" post you will know that I like the kid from Central.

JohnnyT60
The questionyou have to ask is where would that team be without that player. Central would still be in the top 3. Nederland would probably be in the bottom without Mosely. Mosely is like a one man show for that team. Mosely is the most valuable player to his team. snafu
Mosley he runs hard and with his heart..... I watched this kid barely walk across the field to shake hands after the Vidor game. He gave it everything he had .... he left his heart at Pirate Stadium and I am sure he does that week in and week out. He would be a good fit at LSU. snafu
no he isnt but I think Ned needs Mosley more than Vidor depends on Croak. He is a vital part of our team no doubt. But without Mosley I think Ned would be hurting alot worse.
