aTmfan06 Posted March 30, 2011 Report Posted March 30, 2011 Im pretty sure they will resume where they left off.
WOSgrad Posted March 30, 2011 Author Report Posted March 30, 2011 Mr Ump, is there a standard course of action of whether they re-start or pick up where they left off?
SteelerCzy Posted March 30, 2011 Report Posted March 30, 2011 Game to resume at 5:00 pm today. Bottom of 4th no outs, no runners on, score tied 4 to 4. From what Coach Couples has told his players. I am heading there now, if different I will update.
WOSgrad Posted March 30, 2011 Author Report Posted March 30, 2011 Here is why I asked Mr.Ump for an opinion. I got this from the UIL baseball plan:(d) TIES IN DISTRICT AND NON-DISTRICT GAMES. Unless otherwise specified by districtminutes prior to the beginning of season, a regulation district or non-district game called with atie score after five innings have been played (and a winner cannot be determined) shall becounted as one-half game won and one-half game lost for each team. The game shall not bereplayed provided five innings have been completed. If five innings have not been completed, the game shall be replayed from the start.
SteelerCzy Posted March 30, 2011 Report Posted March 30, 2011 Good info, just talked to Coach Couples and the game will resume in the bottom of 4th as previously stated.
SteelerCzy Posted March 30, 2011 Report Posted March 30, 2011 Pirates go down in order in bottom of 4th, still tied 4 to 4
SteelerCzy Posted March 30, 2011 Report Posted March 30, 2011 Pirates escape bases loaded jam in top of 5th, still 4 to 4 heading to btm 5th
SteelerCzy Posted March 30, 2011 Report Posted March 30, 2011 Pirates score 1 in btm of 5th to take a 5 to 4 lead heading to top of 6th.
dsmitchell_77514 Posted March 30, 2011 Report Posted March 30, 2011 The wac just went deep with the bases loaded...........Top of 6 9-5 Panthers
SteelerCzy Posted March 30, 2011 Report Posted March 30, 2011 Anahuac has broken the game open with a grand slam and 3 run home run in the inning, still batting with no outs. 12 to 5 anahuac up.
dsmitchell_77514 Posted March 30, 2011 Report Posted March 30, 2011 They need to save a few of those runs.............18-5
SteelerCzy Posted March 30, 2011 Report Posted March 30, 2011 Finally... After some timely hitting and 4 errors in the field by the pirates the score heading to the bottom of the 6th: anahuac - 17 pirates - 5
