Kountze @ Warren Predictions??

I'm picking kountze after the big win last night. They have some good momentum coming into this game. This game will come down to defense imo. Whoever makes the routine plays and doesn't get rattled should come out on top. I give kountze pitching the edge though.

If the Kountze pitcher can work quick, few pitches per inning, kountze could win a close one. But, if Warren repeatedly takes the count full, Kountze will be in trouble...Offense wins games, pitching just keeps it close.

I think it is going to be a good game and it is going to come down to who commits the least errors ! The Lions are coming back from a huge win and are ready to take another Win home.  Don't look for the same ole Kountze team out there ! These boys want it and are coming to get it !!

Warren just beat the same team, also in extra innings, in that teams park, agianst their "ALL STAR" (see related posts) pitcher. I give the edge to Warrior bats. Should be close, innings 5-6-7 will be the difference.
--Is the kid who took the ball to the face against Hardin all right??

He is fine and will start tonight. Warren also lost at home 6-1 to a Buna team that we beat at there park:)

Yep and Kountze saw their ace also !!  Three hits off him in a row to win the game.  As a matter of fact it took all of Hardin's Pitchers.  I think we all agree this is going to be a tough game and a good game.  I must say no two teams deserve a good year more than Warren and Kountze especially after the year they had last year.  Good Luck to the boys tonight !

Good pitching and defense wins games.  A good pitcher will shut down a good offense, more times than not.

Both teams 3-2 in district. Warren lost to Buna and Anhuac. Kountze lost to Anhuac and Deweyville. Key game for both teams. Kountze has bright spots. Warren is just solid. Warren 5-2 in 7.  
Oh, and I never saw a pitcher score a single run. Seen them walk a few in though.....

I quess offense does win games. Four hits, three walks in the first inning. A patient disciplined hitting team is a pitchers nightmare. Make him bring it, then hit it.

Price never looked comfortable in this one.A timely 2 run double down the right field line gave the Warren club confidence which is a dangerous thing to give a young club.Chase Gray was the the better pitcher tonite by far.True me and you don't usually agree but I agree 100% on this one.You start with a good pitcher and stay strong up the middle and you'll win a ton of games.

I'd save the reciept on that speed gun. And haning K's when your about to get run ruled....well, take pride in what you can. Good job Warren. Bats were the difference. Warren hit, Kountze didn't.  Offense scores runs, runs win games.
