Guest Jags Posted November 9, 2006 Report Posted November 9, 2006 Who wins it? Mosley, Dugat, or Williams? Who would you want on your team if you had to pick?
CraigS Posted November 9, 2006 Report Posted November 9, 2006 Rushing Title! That will be decided by who gets the most RUSHING yards at the end of the season. Who would you want on your team? Now that is a totally differnt question. That decision would need multiple variables to decide. 1 - rushing 2 - recieving out of the backfield 3 - Blocking 4 - Attitude 5 - Heart and I'm sure many other things - one thing for sure, I'd bet no one would trade the one they have for another! They are all good backs!
Guest Kelly Football Posted November 10, 2006 Report Posted November 10, 2006 Tough question. There all good.
GoDogs27 Posted November 10, 2006 Report Posted November 10, 2006 Mosley... he makes something out of nothing a lot of times... And I love how he runs north and south... just straight upfield without dancing around
dme1111 Posted November 10, 2006 Report Posted November 10, 2006 Mosley... Could you imagine how great he would be if he had a better team around him.
Guest Penny Posted November 10, 2006 Report Posted November 10, 2006 It's between Mosely and Williams... I'm a homer so I'm going with Mosely. I haven't seen Dugat take over a game like the other two, plus early in the year before the QB change, Dayton was not the team they are today... so I don't think he is on the same level as Mosely or Williams.

piratefan Posted November 10, 2006 Report Posted November 10, 2006 Mosley... Could you imagine how great he would be if he had a better team around him.let me tell you something.. Nederland's line is one of the best in the district..Mosley is good, but come on man give some credit where credit is due..the O-line at nederland is very good..it hurts for me to say that but they are.
youwish Posted November 10, 2006 Report Posted November 10, 2006 wait- so Penny.. you think the QB change helped or hurt Dugat?
Guest Penny Posted November 10, 2006 Report Posted November 10, 2006 It helped his team, and hurt his MVP chances. Dayton was not as good before the QB change, which tells me Dugat was unable to carry the load like Mosley has.
Guest Penny Posted November 10, 2006 Report Posted November 10, 2006 Good point Bronco, I'm just speaking of what I saw this year... he's a great back with a great career... he should be on the same level, but I don't think he's the MVP this year.
youwish Posted November 10, 2006 Report Posted November 10, 2006 Oh- ok.. I understand.. Dugat is a great athlete from the years I've seen him, but he just doesn't have the size needed for the next level...
Lucky Posted November 10, 2006 Report Posted November 10, 2006 Total yards usually determines who gets the title but yards per carry should come into play if there is a big difference in the number of carries and the yards are close.
dme1111 Posted November 11, 2006 Report Posted November 11, 2006 I am a bulldog fan pirate. I am not taking anythin away from our o-line.I am just saying that If He is doing this well with a mediocre team, imagine his potential given the ideal situation.
GoDogs27 Posted November 11, 2006 Report Posted November 11, 2006 Surely there are no questions who gets it after tonight....
geauxbroncos Posted November 14, 2006 Report Posted November 14, 2006 I am a bulldog fan pirate. I am not taking anythin away from our o-line.I am just saying that If He is doing this well with a mediocre team' date=' imagine his potential given the ideal situation.[/quote'] the only thing that makes Nederland mediocre is the Defense. If he played for a better offensive team his yards would not have been as high because he would not have had to carry the load like he did.
bronco1 Posted November 14, 2006 Report Posted November 14, 2006 Rushing Title goes to Micah Mosley "Mosley the Machine" no need to post any more on the subject.
dme1111 Posted November 14, 2006 Report Posted November 14, 2006 After seeing the oline friday night... I agree
bronco1 Posted November 14, 2006 Report Posted November 14, 2006 But, he does carry the load and this is about a rushing title. Mosley has got it hands down and it don't matter about the rest of the team. The boy has ran over a mile up and down the football field with somebody trying to tackle him. That is impressive. 8)
