My School nailed the 24th spot and they couldn't be more wrong. These guys must just be looking at attendance numbers. First off, WSU averages about 25,000 fans every Saturday (not at capacity), but the town only has that many people, and, they've only won 3 games in 3 years! Sooooo, I would say that's a pretty decent fan base, and the experience is actually spot on. I've never seen tailgating relatively close to what WSU puts on. These people fill the lots in 3 days before gameday and start tailgating then.
JJWooten Posted April 10, 2011 Report Posted April 10, 2011 Oh, and they through USC at #17 because their 80,000 average fans can't fill a 95,000 seat bowl? The rest is pretty accurate, though
NorthoftheBorder Posted April 11, 2011 Report Posted April 11, 2011 Interesting to see ULM, ULL & Western Kentucky, all SBC schools in the top 20. Only Utah St I noticed was from the WAC although I thought that San Jose St was pretty dismal in attendance.

JJWooten Posted April 11, 2011 Report Posted April 11, 2011 I think their ranking numbers were basically based on capacity percentages, and that was all they factored into "atmosphere"
becktobigs Posted April 13, 2011 Report Posted April 13, 2011
Miami not in it?
Yeah, and 7 other MAC teams on the list. They were about the only one left out.....unless, of course, you were talking about Miami (Not of Ohio). They should be there too.

I've watched games on tv before and it seems like the place is rocking.
