The Burkeville Chronicle is retiring

Thanks to everyone for all of the great conversation and chats. Its been fun. However, It is time to move on to bigger and better things...but with no regrets..I am glad to be retiring. Good luck to all schools who read this. I will see you all in another place very, very soon!

Can't believe anyone would leave Newton County and the Burkeville area with as many job opporunities that exist here....
I guess there are no openings at the Burkeville Food Mart which is the only store open in Burkeville now.
