ForeverADog Posted April 21, 2011 Report Posted April 21, 2011 Lamar up 2-0 early in the second. DD Lott pitching. Another starter, Shane Hamaker, didn't make the trip. He'll be visiting the doctor with arm pain. They just keep falling.
Guest baseball25 Posted April 22, 2011 Report Posted April 22, 2011 wow this is crazy with the pitchers, might have to change there off-season work out program.
ForeverADog Posted April 22, 2011 Author Report Posted April 22, 2011 Down 5-2. UTsA has 3 home runs.

Guest baseball25 Posted April 22, 2011 Report Posted April 22, 2011 Figured it was something to do during the offseason weight program!!!
KFDM COOP Posted April 22, 2011 Report Posted April 22, 2011 http://www.beaumontenterprise.com/sports/lamar/article/Lamar-baseball-drops-fourth-straight-in-loss-at-1347897.php

ForeverADog Posted April 23, 2011 Author Report Posted April 23, 2011 Cards leading 4-2 in the second. Andrew Dewey had an inside the park home run.
ForeverADog Posted April 23, 2011 Author Report Posted April 23, 2011 UTSA gets three in the ninth to win 13-12. LU needs healthy pitching!
KingSnake Posted April 23, 2011 Report Posted April 23, 2011 This season is shot....time to start preparing for next season.
AshlyHasBeen Posted April 24, 2011 Report Posted April 24, 2011 12 conference games left, still time to make the SLC tournament.
Guest baseball25 Posted April 25, 2011 Report Posted April 25, 2011 They have plenty of time it's very tight in the middle of the pack rightnow
KingSnake Posted April 25, 2011 Report Posted April 25, 2011
They have plenty of time it's very tight in the middle of the pack rightnow
I understand that...theoretically, but I haven't seen much to give me any hope. They certainly aren't getting better each game. I can't remember the last time I saw a 6 game conference losing streak.... and these were "middle of the pack" teams we lost to.
ForeverADog Posted April 25, 2011 Author Report Posted April 25, 2011 Teams do it all the time. We aren't getting blown out everytime. The Red Sox were horrible at the beginning of the year but they are fine now. Still time to work it out. It won't be easy however.

They are finding ways to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. And they seem to have almost perfected it. I don't see them going anywhere even if they make the tourney. There won't be the luck they had in last year's tourney.
ForeverADog Posted April 25, 2011 Author Report Posted April 25, 2011 But how do you know this? People were saying the same things last year. Anything can happen.
Guest baseball25 Posted April 25, 2011 Report Posted April 25, 2011 I mean is this what Lamar Baseball as come down too!!!lets barley get in the conference tourney and have hope of winning it and going to regionals, Lamar Baseball program shouldn't being regressing!!! it should be progressing, I really believe there should be a change Gilligan used to be one of the best coaches in the nation but I feel his time as come.... yes anything can happen but Lamar baseball shouldn't be in this situation they should be top 3 in the conference each and every yr!!!!
