I was not blown away either.
A wins a win. I was pleased that GCM battled back after a poor start. It would have been very easy to just try again on Friday.

Thought it was interesting that Denny opted to lift Leggett from the line-up instead of just moving him to 3rd. He had 3 hits up to that point.

As an outsider looking in..........I have heard about and left a few games scratching my head thinking that BH should have won the game only to watch some goofed up trickery.


Congrats to Coach Rupp and the GCM Patriots.

Just remember before second guessing coaching on a open forum that these players read, if they see dads and others 2nd guessing their coach, why would they believe in that coach or trust him,also going home and complaining, that gets in a kids head and blames everything on a coach or whatever. You speak of "TEAM not I" in your post and what's best for setting an example for your kids to promote this team concept. Were not you the one that started the thread about who had the highest [b]inidividual[/b] batting averages in 19-4a titled
"Top Hitters in 19-4a"? I don't know who your are but I'd be willing to bet you have a kid that's on the list. That's not exactly promoting the team concept either. ??? You can't have it both ways or you tend to lose credibility. JMO for what it's worth.

As sucking up goes, I don't think putting down the accomplishments of a coach or supporting him is sucking up, and doing it on this forum is going to get my or any other kid playing time.  As my kid being on the list on the best avgs, Way things are going I dont think he could crack the top 10 on his team. Saw 20-4A had a forum about their best hitters and thought it ould be cool to see our districts top hitters as well thats all.  Sounds like a nerve was hit, that was not the point of the post.  The point was that this coach has the resume that has earned respect and the season is not even over and see post questioning his choices.  Nothing personal

Again Congrats to GCM, to come back after being down, showed heart and why they are district champs, really look for them to make some noise in the playoffs

You didn't hit a nerve. I just call it like I see it. If what appears to me as sucking up isn't then I apologize. There must have been a little sucking up in there because you got defensive and tried to delete your post. Of course it's kinda neat when someone quote's you it won't disappear from their reply. I still think I hit the nail on the head. I also think RIP09 is spot on with his post. I don't believe for a second that your kid isn't on that list. I don't know of anyone that keeps up with team stats if their kid isn't in the top 10 on the team. I think your kids on the list you posted and I wouldn't be surprised if he were at the top. That's usually the way it works. Nothing wrong with being proud of your kid but you gotta be man enough to admit it. I went back to look at the topic you started and I noticed you went in and deleted all of your earlier posts. What's up that? Now it looks like your hiding something or covering something up. I think a nerve was hit alright, but it wasn't mine :o :o

I deleted those post because it seemed to bother a few.  I did not put any names, but was not intended to offend. This post seemed to hit a nerve very fast, so before it got worse, I got rid of it, but since you brag about coping it, I guess it will stay, again not the intent to offend so I got rid of it.  Nothing to hide
On my kid, I will say he was on the first list, but fell off . Rough times the last 2 weeks, not on the 2nd list. Not that it is any of your business (not why I deleted the post)
My kids name has never been mentioned on here, so it not like he gets any hype from my post or any other.  This is about baseball , that all . BBaller if you have a problem with this, send me a personal messege and believe me we can meet. Seems it did hit a nerve on you, you spent a lot of time looking up my old post. I also deleted eveything, because I have learned not to post anymore, and just washing my hands of it. I also see my kid starting to come up and I wont have that and if that happens then I will find out who you are. So the smart thing is to drop it.
