KFDM COOP Posted November 11, 2006 Report Posted November 11, 2006 This game will be Saturday night in Baytown. Predictions?
bh89-2 Posted November 11, 2006 Report Posted November 11, 2006 The only way Nederland wins this game is if Mosley has a career night. I have not doubt Galena Park will give up big yards on the ground, but they can also put up a lot of points on their own. This game will come down to how well Galena Park executes their passing game and if their defense can slow Mosley down. No one else has, so I doubt they will. Too close to call, but I think GP has a good chance at a win.
BHFAN Posted November 11, 2006 Report Posted November 11, 2006 I love it!!! I get to watch two games this week !!!!!1 GP is very good and can score quick!! They cannot defend the run which is in Nederlands favor. This game will be a shoot out! very hgh scoring game with GP coming out on top. GP 49 Nederland 35
NederlandFreak2006 Posted November 11, 2006 Report Posted November 11, 2006 Yep. Micha will have ANOTHER career night as usual. And Moshier impressed me last night so we'll be alright in the passing game. With all that has happened this year. We'll be motivated to win this football game. Nederland by 17.
TradinUp BH Posted November 11, 2006 Report Posted November 11, 2006 Nederland wins in a close game if the defense shows up. You know Mosley will show up.
bronco1 Posted November 11, 2006 Report Posted November 11, 2006 Nederland wins in a close game if the defense shows up. You know Mosley will show up. Yeah if the defense shows up and Mosley the Machine does his thang they can win.
BH88 Posted November 11, 2006 Report Posted November 11, 2006 I'm just going to take a wild guess and say Galena Park. I was impressed at how well they played in the first half against Barbers Hill.
NederlandFreak2006 Posted November 11, 2006 Report Posted November 11, 2006 That's what I like to hear fellas! Go Dogs!
Guest etbu Posted November 11, 2006 Report Posted November 11, 2006 I will be one of the few supporting GP this week but am looking foward to see Nederland for the first time. I really like the GP coaching staff and their kids and wish them the best.
tre tre Posted November 11, 2006 Report Posted November 11, 2006 Im going with Nederland on this one, but it's going to be a close one. If Mosley shows up, then i take Nederland in this one. Nederland- 42 GP- 21
Guest Penny Posted November 11, 2006 Report Posted November 11, 2006 Mosley has shown up huge all year.
SFA85 Posted November 12, 2006 Report Posted November 12, 2006 Imma go with GP only because it's Nederland. Football wise, the run the option and Ned's soft against the run....
jake94 Posted November 12, 2006 Report Posted November 12, 2006 Actually, the improvement in the Ned defense has been against the run. We are much softer against the pass. We are still far from being a good defense though! Should be a scoring fest. I have heard that GP can't D up either.
Lucky Posted November 12, 2006 Report Posted November 12, 2006 The Dogs could pull this one off, because I believe Galena Park plays in a weak district...........And I know that 22-4A was weak this year also except for Central & Dayton...... I also give the coaching advantage to the Nederland.
Eagle82 Posted November 12, 2006 Report Posted November 12, 2006 I think either way it's going to be an entertaining game from what I read. Just an interesting thought: GP beat Channelview earlier this year and Channelview just beat WB and WB was in a 1st place tie in their 5A district. I know this doesn't mean squat, but GP must have something to be competitive.
SFA85 Posted November 12, 2006 Report Posted November 12, 2006 All that means is the View is still sorry like there were every year in 4A except when that hog found an acorn in '91.......
Guest etbu Posted November 12, 2006 Report Posted November 12, 2006 GP has a wr name Holloway, good qb and running back. They also have a huge end number eighty eight that is not that fast but can catch the ball. They have a number seven that plays db and wr that can get down field pretty good and broke one on BH. On defense they have a kid number fifty six who plays dend that is very physical. GP does have problems with the run up the gut and sounds like you guys do exactly that which will cause them problems. GP also has a pretty good size right tackle that is going to Tulane that is very effective. Let me tell you when they played Bh last night if not for a lateral pass that the GP wr just sits there and looks at while a db from Bh returns it down to the three, a fourth and five fake and get inside Bh ten that gets call back, and a missed what twenty yard field goal? That game never gets to overtime with GH winning by about fifteen to twenty.
Guest BIG HOUSE Posted November 12, 2006 Report Posted November 12, 2006 WELL BH IS WEAK!!!! I'll TAKE NEDERLAND IN A GOOD ONE... NEDERLAND-31 G.PARK-23
Guest PurplePride Posted November 12, 2006 Report Posted November 12, 2006 Nederland-14 GP-7 GO BULLDOGS!
