Any updates from this tourney? I'm watching the Nederland baseball team play-what a game so far. Ned just tied it up in bottom of 7th inning.

I was watching Ned's baseball team advance, but heard Ned beat Kelly, Silsbee, and HJ. Gonna try to make it to Championship game against PA. Don’t know scores of games though.

OF lost to HJ by a lot.  Today they beat Kelly by 8 and Silsbee by 4 in overtime.

LCM won the tournament by beating Nederland 39 to 37. Close game.  LCM had over 10 point lead at one time. Nederland battled back but fell short. Good game to both sides.  Yes, LCM beat PA by around 15.

Coach English put on a very good tournament. Personally, it gave me an opportunity to look at some of the local talent coming up to varsity. Good job guys.

But I did sit behind the HJ players and talked a little to them. Good group of guys, I wish them luck against WO-S and Silsbee. I also got a chance to talk to a couple of Silsbee players and their coaches. I also wish them luck against WO-S and HJ. OF was there but they're already out of the playoffs. ;D

The Nederland -HJ game was a triple overtime affair.  After two overtimes proved fruitless, the ref simply stated that the first score wins.  Nederland was fouled on a rebound and made the free throw ending the game in the third overtime.  I wouldn't say that " Ned held him".

Sounds like a good game. Look forward to their meeting in November (assuming they are playing again this year about the same time as they did last season)...

Why can't the mighty dove get a group of kids from HF together to play together or are you still looking for a better nest to land in?  Seems that with all of your knowledge that you would have these kids in the gym working them out to make up for the lack of time that they have during the season.
