Roster lists him at 6'8" and 227lbs.  He averaged 6.5 pts and 4.5 rebounds and lead the team in blocked shots.

He's number 3 in the team photo; he looks the part.

Notice the roster also says #20 is 6'8" and it is clear Acosta is a couple inches taller than him, so who knows?? The big question is, is he better than Keyser?

6-7 Brazier and 6-8 Brown are on the roster for sure next year. I think 6-11 Osas and 6-7 Harris will not back next year so they do need a few more big guys, even if they aren't great players.

[/quote]yEP, and the sad part is that most of the bigs I read about or see  are not that skilled. I saw a 7'5"  kid (high school) last week. The ball went right through his hands on one play. But he can dunk ;D

Osas is a playmaker on defense. I think if he polishes up his game some he could be a player. He made a lot of plays that he couldn't finish, but give him a couple more years and he'll be fine.

Yep...Again you can't train height and he has it at 6'11". He will never be an offensive threat, but he could and probably will be an excellent shot blocker and low post defender. He has already shown great strides in that area since he got on campus two years ago.

He was a RS freshmen this past season and he showed me a hell of a lot more than Coy Custer did his freshmen RS season.

Agreed!
Coy never really improved his game. He was a horrible defender and bad with the ball. He could shoot, but it was just too hard to get him the ball.
Osas impressed me when his minutes improved late in the season with his deffense.
