Just to make a slight correction on when the last time Silsbee advanced past the first round. The Tigers did it in 1986, making the Quarterfinals. They also made it in the early '90's under Coach Mark Williams.

They also won district in '05, but lost in the 2nd round after receiving a 1st round bye.
