Wow .... what an outstanding pitching performance by Brett Brown! 16 K's and one meaningless hit....... not only did he strike out 16 , but they struck out ugly..... he had em guessing , wiffing, buckling their knees, turning their heads, check swinging like crazy. And overall just looking stupid at the plate.....they couldn't even get down a bunt his stuff was so nasty.......and the best part was watching their coach's reaction at third base on every swing and miss....way to outduel a D-1 recruit and #1 ace Brown! Maybe BH all had the flu ....sorry, couldn't resist.......

Brown pitched great 16ks, he did keep BH off balance.  grayson long for BH pitched a heck of a game also 11Ks. nederland came out on top, but the rest of your statement just showed your butt, don't think you would want someone talking about Jr like that and his fielding. Oh and that meaningless hit  broke up the no-no so pretty sure that ment a lot to the BH dugout.

I has hoping it was just a kid.....he should have had more done to him than scolding.....It was absolutely uncalled for.....I sought out the police to find out who said it....I was not scolded, threatened or reprimanded........He agreed with me that it was wrong......Believe me, if my kid said that I would escort him out by his ear!

id like to say congrats to brett as well. i started to say something after the first game and ill say it now. for the past 3 years . nederland has had more than 2 capable  pitchers that could win against anyone in the district. when you pitch just 2 it looks good on stats. however it really puts a strain on the arms.come playoff time it seems to me that you would want to enter them with somewhat fresh arms.this year was the weakest ive seen pitching wise in a long while . nederland by far had more pitching than anyone but for what ever reason didnt utilize it .brett myself  as well as alot of people knew you could come in and perform like this without a doubt.just keep your head up and be ready for future series.pitts and raines are fully capable as well.hope all is well with smith and #7 who i feel is the best athelete on the team.win today and theres a good chance you will go far.

Yep, the next best thing to say when you lose a game is, "Well, at least we got one hit!".......NOT!!!!

I at least admitted defeat on the first game.......said we plain old got beat and no excuses. BH fans can't admit it even when they got mowed down with 16 Ks.  :o
