Doesn't look good for the home team, but with six games left, they might be able to squeeze into the tourney.

At this point, why would you even want them in the tourney?  I hope Tx State rolls through the topurney and then makes a great showing in the NCAA tourney.  If LU even gets in the conference tourney, they sure aren't going to luck out like last year.

I agree. This team would be one of the 3 best teams in the conference if healthy. Harrington, Dziedzic, Lott, Hamaker, Steward, Roebuck, Salinas, Johnson, and Bunner are all players who have been hurt this season. Majority out for the year. Hard to recover from that. Especially at a mid-major where you won't gave the quality of depth on the roster like a Big 12 school.

I agree that having the injuries doesn't help, but I watched some of the earlier games in the year, and they didn't impress me. They were an average team, but I don't think they would've been a top 3 team.  As a fan, I think it's time for a change, but I imagine there are others that disagree. I appreciate what Gilligan has done for the program, but it's time for new blood. I just didn't see the fire and intensity from this years team like past years teams in the 90's. This seems to be an ongoing issue for the last couple of years. I know Gilligan got them to the regionals last year, but this program has been declining overall.

Ruckdaddy what do you know about baseball?  I thought soccer was your sport.

Very funny.  Anybody who knows me - which you apparently do but refuse to identify yourself - knows that I am a baseball guy first and foremost.

This program has not been relevant for many years now.  Sure we got hot on a three day stretch last year but the team was uncermoniously bounced in two days from the regional.  They didn't even look like they belonged.  The fact is the rest of the conference is improving while we are stagnant (which really means we are falling back).

I thank Coach G for the great work he has done, but would like to see him move on.
