B. Brown did a good job last night, but I can't take anything away from G. Long either.... 12 SO and 2 (timely) hits for Ned. Not too shabby and 2-0 score. Good ball game.

Lasall threw 2 Thursday and looked really good, Also Sanderson and Quinn should be ready to go.

Basebow might be on to something though, we may see anyone that can get an out step on the mound today.

Striking out 16 in 7 innings is akin to Kerry Wood and Roger Clemens (twice) striking out 20 in the pros. In fact, percentage wise, it is better.

You want to do everything possible to win the first game Thursday. After Brown's outing last Friday he should definitely be the one to start. He throws harder and his breaking ball is wicked.
