What will be the rotation for this series?

Will coach go with Brett Brown in game 1 ?  How will he use Lasalle in this series, he pitched lights out last week?

Word is that Duplant got released today and will be available for this series.

This little piece of information may change the rotation for the Bulldogs:

That's a fresh arm, and a stick in the lineup.

Our pitching was good  last week, it was our bats that struggled.

That's the truth.  The Dogs are going to have to swing the bats if they want to have a chance in this series.  Against BH, Nederland scored 6 runs on 10 hits in the 3 game series.  That won't cut it against Magnolia this weekend.

Magnolia scored 26 runs on 31 hits in just 2 games against Kingwood. The Dogs better bring the big bats and hope the arms stay healthy.

Personally, past performances don't matter. What matters is how we handle this series. Teams that make it this far have good pitching and good hitters......not something we haven't already seen.

Go Dogs!

I agree. I feel Brett Brown has earned that start. I would pitch Dup game 2 and Tyler game 3 or in relief if needed in the first two. Then have LaSalle (sp.) go game 3. With Pitts in the bullpen.

I'm sure Kirkland will get the nod, tender arm a month ago, should be ready.
I think he delivers the first one. Then if Green goes on game two you have your first two sitting on 88 touching 90. Green still at times will try and overthrow, but if he settles in it will be a long night.
Dog's bats haven't impressed as of late, like their D with Sonnier and crowd, but still think good pitching will beat average hitting.

Anyone have the address or directions to the Kingwood field?
Posted
The address is 2701 Kingwood Dr., Kingwood, Texas 77339

For Bulldog fans in Houston, the easiest route is North on U.S. 59, take the Kingwood Dr. exit right and proceed right on Kingwood Dr.

For Bulldog fans in the Triangle, Google maps suggests that Hwy. 90 might be the best route:  http://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&sugexp=ldymls&pq=humble+isd&xhr=t&cp=11&client=firefox-a&hs=jJt&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&biw=1280&bih=703&bav=on.2,or.r_gc.r_pw.&um=1&ie=UTF-8&cid=0,0,3159527952706342027&fb=1&hq=high+school&hnear=Kingwood,+Houston,+TX&gl=us&daddr=2701+Kingwood+Drive,+TX+77339-3797&geocode=12273543547464979026,30.045855,-95.193938&ei=dMXKTa2bJsPn0QGh9InSBw&sa=X&oi=local_result&ct=directions-to&resnum=2&sqi=2&ved=0CDAQngIwAQ

My three starters would be Dup, Brown, and Smith if needed in game 3 just to give him another week of rest on the shoulder.  Bullpen of course has shown it's depth so relief will be Lasalle, Fontentot, Pitts, Quinn, C. Richard, C. Raines, etc.  Great shape if the bats get hot again.  Dogs in 2.
