[/quote]That's the truth. The Dogs are going to have to swing the bats if they want to have a chance in this series. Against BH, Nederland scored 6 runs on 10 hits in the 3 game series. That won't cut it against Magnolia this weekend.

BrenhamFan
Magnolia scored 3 runs in 2 games against us... ;) ;D(Kingwood Park prolly had a lot to do with it)
baddog
Personally, past performances don't matter. What matters is how we handle this series. Teams that make it this far have good pitching and good hitters......not something we haven't already seen.Go Dogs!
pngpurple4ever
Regardless if Smith & Duplant are available..I would pitch Brett Thursday night.
ForeverADog
I agree. I feel Brett Brown has earned that start. I would pitch Dup game 2 and Tyler game 3 or in relief if needed in the first two. Then have LaSalle (sp.) go game 3. With Pitts in the bullpen.

dirtball
I'm sure Kirkland will get the nod, tender arm a month ago, should be ready.I think he delivers the first one. Then if Green goes on game two you have your first two sitting on 88 touching 90. Green still at times will try and overthrow, but if he settles in it will be a long night. Dog's bats haven't impressed as of late, like their D with Sonnier and crowd, but still think good pitching will beat average hitting.
