vhs Posted November 13, 2006 Report Posted November 13, 2006 For me it would have to be my Pirates. They played tough all year, but just could not keep from giving up the big play. They were real close this year in most of their games, in fact they led some of these games late but could not hold on. The Lumberton and Central games were just heartbreaking games that we lost on the last play of each game. PNG beat us on 2 big plays when we had double the offense and 15 more first downs than they had. LCM beat us with two huge td passes to win by 10. Don't get me wrong, I can't be more proud of our boys. They played their hearts out, and I think they earned a little more respect within our district this year. Good Job Pirates!
wos pride Posted November 13, 2006 Report Posted November 13, 2006 with no disrespect to your fans or team i would have to say jasper. usually they are playoff contenders and played in a state championship game a few years ago im sure they suffured to graduation so they must have young talent ready to step up
Heb Posted November 13, 2006 Report Posted November 13, 2006 Orangefield. I thought they would at least be in playoff contention late in the season.
sticky Posted November 13, 2006 Report Posted November 13, 2006 It has to be Barbers Hill. They didn't win a single scrimmage this year.
formerpirate Posted November 13, 2006 Report Posted November 13, 2006 Lumberton, they hadn't lost a game since I can't remember when and they lost 7 district games this year. They were destined to win state this year.
DP#1FAN Posted November 13, 2006 Report Posted November 13, 2006 That was funny! Even if I lived in Lumberton that was funny!
Guest pngpurplenwhite Posted November 13, 2006 Report Posted November 13, 2006 PNG, had some talent this year.
Jsmity Posted November 13, 2006 Report Posted November 13, 2006 For me its my alma-matter... WB.... started off great... and steadily got worse and worse.... we better pick it up in the playoffs... or else we'll be one and done......

L-Town Stunners Posted November 13, 2006 Report Posted November 13, 2006 Jasper, first time in many years not to make playoffs. Ozen, just because they usually always in the playoff hunt. Lumberton, just because all the winning streak hype and high expectations. Burkeville, also just because they usually in the playoffs.
MaroonFball Posted November 13, 2006 Report Posted November 13, 2006 JASPER... its gonna be weird without them in the playoffs... better luck next year.
Raider88 Posted November 13, 2006 Report Posted November 13, 2006 Lumberton, But what else is new!!! :x :? I need to find a new team. This is getting REALLY OLD!!
vhs Posted November 14, 2006 Report Posted November 14, 2006  Your joking right! If not you were not at the same game that I was at. Let me get this right, we went into half time leading and we were never in the game. What are you smokin? 8)
vhs Posted November 14, 2006 Report Posted November 14, 2006 You need to lay off that stuff man, that kills brain cells. 8)
