John Paul II MIF/RHP Jose Trevino had a huge game in the Centurions TAPPS 4A playoff opener. Not only did Trevino tie the single season record for Home Runs in a season in the state of Texas (25) but he also threw a run-rule shortened 5-inning perfect game, striking out 13 of the 15 hitters he faced. Trevino is commited to Oral Roberts.

I'm kind of shocked it is only 25.

That's about a HR per game.

The Sundevils played this team several years ago during the summer. They play year round ball and are pretty legit.

The kid from Klien Collins has 15, but his season is over. Josh Bell, the kid from Dallas Jesuit and the top rated MLB prospect in Texas, has 13 in 33 games.

Have fun in college with pitcher throwing 5-10 MPH harder and the new certified bats. ;)

Yeah, it's going to be a big jump up. Hopefully they were line-shots that will turn into doubles if they don't leave the park

He is one of the best pure hitters I have seen. Effortless swing.
Already committed to UT.
Still plays for the Banditos.
