grass to turf?

ok i know this will happen it happened to me in high school but how do you think teams will be or how do you think they will play or how do you prepare from going to playing on grass all year to play on turf during the playoffs?

It depends, most change the cleats out, and its not near as bad as the old Astroturf. We end up playing on turf a couple times a year, so its not that new.

yeah we changed shoes to but it is still difficult i think making that move also the worst place to play in the world on turf was the astrodome baseball and football there are soft and hard sports i dunno how to explain it but it was not fun

Field turf is nice. However, there are a few fields in the Houston area that are still astroturf. SHSU is still turf. One thing I believe, is you have to practice on it( at least once) to get the feel of it. Old monsanto 8 is different than field turf in reaction and cushioning. I also believe that speed is enhanced on the old turf. Field turf plays like grass. My $.02

Nederland will get turf within the next few years and maybe Silsbee. WOS is looking into it as well.

Wo-s has always loved playing on turf. It makes a fast team faster. If your a team that hasn't played on it much though, you could have some problems with slipping.
