Summer Basketball League in Area

Question? So how does this summer team work in this area? If HJ, Ozen, Dayton, Kountze all have summer leagues, do they play on different nights and all these teams partcipate at each school's league? Or they play in two leagues? three leagues?

Some crossover leagues and some just play in one league.  Different hosts due to convenience.

HJ, Silsbee, Lumberton, and Kountze will all play in HJ's and Kountze's league.  They will play on Mon. and Thurs. at Kountze and on Tues. at HJ.

Don't know of any really.  WB sent a team to HJ last year made up of all juniors.  Most 5A's probably do only AAU

Nederland has about 10 teams in their league.  They also have a jv league as well.  Alot of 4a teams in this one and memorial as well.

Not only Nederland  Varsity and JV...I saw a 7th grade team and a 8th grade team play in the Ned tourney last week.

Silsbee will be hosting their big 3 day summer tourney in July. Last year, there were 24 teams in tourney.

I havent seen any but am hearing repeatedly that HF meets that criteria.

Kountze summer league games start tonight.  1st game at 5pm.  Mon and Thursdays , if u want to watch.

Hmmm- It might be interesting.  HJ played Woodville Monday night without Prudhomme and Bosha and led 49-22 at half.

:'( Bosha hurt at HJ. Not gonna be fun playing HJ without their main people. HJ peeps will say they lost to HF because HJ didn't all their pieces.
