sfajack10 Posted May 18, 2011 Report Posted May 18, 2011 Got a couple of big names still out there. Two could be big for Kansas and one seems to be well needed for Texas. Trevor Lacy is picking out of Alabama, Kansas, and Kentucky. DeAndre Daniels picking out of Kansas, Texas, Duke, and Kentucky. Kansas could score big by getting them both (plus a teammate of Daniels that is 6'7" big man that is needed for Kansas). Anyone heard anything on were these two are leaning? Texas I'm sure is praying to land Daniels to get some kind of height on the wing and post.
sfajack10 Posted May 23, 2011 Author Report Posted May 23, 2011 Kinda not surprised. I heard that will be more of a option for high school kids along with going overseas to play for a year. Not really sure how good of a idea that will be.
Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted June 16, 2011 Report Posted June 16, 2011
I think Daniels is going D-league route!
can he do that??
sfajack10 Posted July 7, 2011 Author Report Posted July 7, 2011 I think he is 19 and there is some kind of loophole. He decided to go to Connecticut though.
shorttexas1 Posted August 1, 2011 Report Posted August 1, 2011 Yes that is no loop hole! The rule calls for a player to be 19 and one year removved from school. The D-league meets the qualification for kids who want to come out and NOT go to college. Kids dont think it pays enough but they should do this and make some money if they are not going to be STUDENT athletes!
