Giddings vs. Bridge City Game 2 Thread/Bridge City wins series 2-0!

Game 2 of this Class 3A regional quarterfinal best of 3 series will take place from Cavalier Field on the campus of College Park High School in The Woodlands at 7:30 p.m.  Bridge City took Game 1, 8-3, to take a 1-0 series lead.

The winner of this series will face the winner of the Robinson/China Spring series.  Robinson leads that series 1-0 with Game 2 to be played tonight in China Spring at 7 p.m.

First inning, BC got a runner to first but did not score.  Giddings scored a run in the bottom of the first.

Second inning, BC got a run to tie the game and Giddings coming up to bat.    Score  1-1

With 2 outs in the bottom of the 3rd Giddings batter hit one to left, the runner on base was heading home and got thrown out!!!
