Santa Fe vs Lamar Consolidated Game 3- Santa Fe wins series 2-1

The series is tied at 1-1, with Lamar Consolidated winning game 1, 12-6, & Santa Fe winning game 2, 8-4, last night.  Winner of this series gets Brenham in the regional semi-final.  Brenham swept Willis, 8-1 & 5-4.

Seems the 5a Athletic Directors called UH before their series was over and grabbed UH. Friendswood called Friday am and were 2nd or 3rd on the list, per UH Facilities AD. Rice is not hosting anything - just do not want to host any. Oh well!!

Rice will probably host an NCAA Regional. Probably want to prevent wear and tear on the playing surface. The weather is doing enough damage as it is.
