ANOTHER CLASS ACT FROM LAMAR

My brother-n-law played football for Lamar in the late 70's and always spoke highly of coach Peyton.  We had funeral services today for my mother in law.  Who shows up for the service, Coach Peyton 30 odd years after coaching my brother in law.  What a class act.....along with coach Tidwell and a few others at Lamar......is it October yet????????

That literally gave me chills.  Love having people like him represent the school I love so much!

Coach Peyton is what most teachers and coaches strive to be. Could not think of a better role model for a young educator.

Took health from him as a freshman and really enjoyed him.  Later on took a basketball officiating class from him and he really understands the game and how to play it and how to call it.

I am glad that the administration has cotninued to keep him involved with the program.

Coach Peyton would probably not remember me...but I met him a few times in the 1970s as a student...WHAT A GREAT GUY!!!!!!!!!
