Silsbee's DC Stallworth and Kountze's Zay McDaniel will sign their letters of intent Tuesday with Cedar Valley College. Stallworth, a two time all stater, 2 time district MVP, 2 time BE Super Gold team MVP and TABC all star, will have his signing in the school library at 2:30pm. McDaniel, all state, district MVP and a super gold team member, will be signing at his high school Tuesday as well.

Cedar Valley College is located in Dallas and already has one local player playing for them in Kountze's Roman Walker.

Congrats to these two fine young men and good luck in continuing your basketball careers.

Now, Mr. Nash - Dove is not able to answer that question without bias.  I, on the other hand, with my perfectly balanced and uninfluenced opinion on all subjects, can answer the questions objectively.  NO ! ;D

      Are you really gonna talk about decorum from a President while supporting the guy who effectively has no such decorum? Just last night the former president (and would-be despot) was in Arizona talking with Tucker Carlson and fantasized about Liz Cheney in front of a firing squad… after calling her dumb, of course.     Trump didn’t just “defecate all over the office of the President”…. He is a piece of excrement.

      I like option number two, PNG and Nederland both win. Nederland i’ll be the district champion, number 1 seed or whatever you want to call it. Yes I know that if two or three teams tie with the same record, they will be called co-champions and everyone gets a trophy. One team however will go in as the first place team in district and will play the fourth place team in the bi-district round. If PNG and Nederland both win, Nederland will be #1. I-N-D-I-A-N-S! - Scalp ‘em Indians, Scalp ‘em!  😎

      Virginia has same day voter registration. A person can literally walk in to the voting location, register and then vote. So the premise that Virginia might be stopping people with a legitimate right to vote is nonsense. From what I gather in the news report, assuming that the ones I have read are correct, the people that were removed, filled out a drivers license registration and marked that they were not an American citizen. Could the person have made a mistake bychecking the box incorrectly? Although unlikely it is certainly possible. That same person who was removed can go into the same voting location where he would have voted and again, complete a voter registration and then vote.  That went into the Supreme Court’s decision.  If such a person votes by registering on election day, he fills out a provisional ballot. Provisional ballots are not originally counted and or not counted unless needed. For example….  Statewide there are 500 provisional ballots cast. A person wins the election by 4,000 votes. That would be no need to count the provisional ballots as it will not matter. Then let’s say there are 5,000 provisional ballots cast in the election. One candidate then wins the election by only 1,500 votes. In that case, the election could definitely swing on those provisional ballots. The state will then investigate each person to make sure they live at the correct address listed and that they are American citizens. If these things are correct, the vote will then be counted. Safe Harbor is not untillll…… I think December 17th this year so there will be six weeks to verify the provisional ballots if needed. The purging of the names of people who checked a state form saying that they were not an American citizen, will not stop that same person from voting.
