It seems like he has had a lead in the last 4 or 5 Majors, but hasn't been able to get it done on the weekend.  He is definately due to win one.

I believe he is talking about all of the Majors.  Rory shot 63 to lead the first round, then shot 80 at the British Open last year.  Had lost his lead on Sunday at the PGA, then had a 4 shot lead on Sunday at August and shot another 80.  The kid is close to being a major champion, he just need to not have that one really bad round.

He has a 10 shot lead right now, so it's hard to bet against him as long as he doesn't shoot another 80 and pull a LeBron.  There is still a lot of golf left.

Rory doubles 18 to finish at -11.  He still has an 8 shot lead as of now with 36 holes left to play.
