PhatMack19 Posted June 18, 2011 Author Report Posted June 18, 2011 Vandy beats NC 7-3. Texas up next.
Guest beechnut Posted June 18, 2011 Report Posted June 18, 2011 As much pitching as the stros need why would they not take the kid from UT? Nice move wade.
PhatMack19 Posted June 18, 2011 Author Report Posted June 18, 2011 Felts reaches on an error and scores the first run for Texas.UT 2Fla 0 Top 3
Guest beechnut Posted June 18, 2011 Report Posted June 18, 2011 FLA better warm up tebow........... 3-0 Horns.
PhatMack19 Posted June 19, 2011 Author Report Posted June 19, 2011 The post season hasn't been kind to Jungmann. He is getting hit pretty hard.UT 3Fla 4 Bot 4
baddog Posted June 19, 2011 Report Posted June 19, 2011 Walking the first two batters on nine pitches with a 3-0 cushion doesn't help.
Court_Jester Posted June 19, 2011 Report Posted June 19, 2011 Like the game against ASU, tu still getting the breaks on the umpire's calls/no-calls. Runner was out at 2nd when stealing, called safe. Gators only get a double on a home run.Jacob Felts did good getting a single up the middle and then scoring from 1st on a double. Looks like that was his second run of the game.
oldollie Posted June 19, 2011 Report Posted June 19, 2011 You are wrong. The SEC beats UT. ESPN owns UT!! ;D ;)

horndawg Posted June 19, 2011 Report Posted June 19, 2011 What in the world is going on with Jungmann lately? It's the worst possible time to be slumping, maybe he needs to find him some black horn-rimmed glasses, circa de this guy.

The HR, I have no answer for, but you can't hold UT responsible. I think horndawg got it right with our ace not playing up to his potential. Three of Florida's runs were leadoff walks. As a pitcher, you can't do that and expect to win. We're not out yet. Plenty of baseball to play.Hook 'em!
oldollie Posted June 19, 2011 Report Posted June 19, 2011 Former pro pitcher and LSU star Ben McDonald on ESPNU said he thinks Jungman has a tired arm, just worn down from the season.
walldrill Posted June 19, 2011 Report Posted June 19, 2011 Very impressed with the kid from Florida the way he attacked the zone. When I heard the stat of the on complete game he threw this year. 76 pitches, and didn't go to 3 balls on a single batter in that game. Can't say I've ever heard of that. The Horns have played much better with their backs against the wall lately. Hopefully they can win out. Hope the Ags win tonite.
PhatMack19 Posted June 19, 2011 Author Report Posted June 19, 2011 Virginia and Cal still tied at 0 in the 7th. Good pitching by both teams so far.
PhatMack19 Posted June 19, 2011 Author Report Posted June 19, 2011 Virginia scores 2 in the 7th to take a 2-0 lead.
