Was just wearing a Lamar collared shirt in an interview on ESPN with his dad... The man is proud of his job. I think LU found the right guy.

I am pleased with the enthusiasm he has shown since being named to the job.  You are prone to get more support when you act like you are happy to be here.

LU posted all over ESPN. I liked it.

No other coach that Lamar had a chance to get would have gotten LU that kind of attention. And, it helps when a recruit can turn on the tv and see Lamar being repped on ESPN. Not the worst thing ever lol

Count me among those who are Pat Knight fans.  I like what he brings to the program.  That said, keep in mind that LU just fired a coach who referred to the position as his "dream job" when hired and did not want to leave.  Bottom line: you can say that Lamar has found the right guy in Pat, but he will only impress as much as he wins.  He is inheriting a stockpile of talent from the previous coach and to his credit has admitted that.  There is no doubt that the team will make the tournament at the very least.

True Rog. In the end the W's tell the story.
He did inherit good talent, but he has also cranked up the strength and conditioning bigtime during the summer. These guys are up at the football field every morning running sprints, the hill and bleachers as well as adding muscle.

Off court he is doing an exceptional job, question is what happens on court when the season starts.  Glad I am not hearing much hype from sources close to him or quotes about the level of talent and how good we will be.
