I heard a rumor several weeks ago that Larry Haynes from Hardin was linked to this job.  I asked about it here and was told that there was no way this job would be open.  Now, seems it is open.  Maybe the rumor had legs.

I think all of the HC positions in the Clear Creek ISD have been filled, so he must be taking an assistant's position.

Coach Long has left Kelly to be the Offensive Coordinator/QB Coach at Clear Creek High School. The job is open and several candidates have expressed interest. This job should be filled fairly quickly, as the Bulldogs have qualified for both public and private 7 on 7 state tournaments. The rest of the Bulldogs staff will remain intact.

A former employee of the West Orange-Cove CISD also came to mind when I heard about this.  But the one I am thinking of currently resides in Texarkana, not Bridge City.

Coach Long came from Clear Creek to PN-G when I was in high school. When we were told he was bringing his son with him we were told he was great at baseball and a decent football player lol.
