14's have worked themselves back into it and will be in the Championship game tomorrow.

14's had to sweep Brazoswood today, won the 1st game 12-5. Lost a tough one 2-1 in the nightcap.

Nederland advances to SW Regional Semifinals with 5-4 win over Harrison, Ark.

Nederland fell behind in the first inning 3-0 and fought back to tie the game 4-4 in the bottom of the 7th

With runner on second with one out, Beau Stewart single home runner Colton Broussard with the winning run in the bottom of the ninth.

Great win for the Dogs. Great defense to hold Arkansas scoreless over the last six innings.

Colby Price pitched final seven innings of the game without giving up a run.

Nederland will face Brazoswood tomorrow @ 7:30 with the winner advancing to the finals ;D

14's lost 4-1

Nederland lost to Brazoswood 4-1. Brazoswood scored three unearned runs in the win.

Nederland plays winner of Bryant vs Harrison (Arkansas) @ 7:30 in an elimmination game. Winner advances to final against Brazoswood Tues @6:00

Defensively standouts were Jace Bordelon, Colton Broussard, and Bret Smith. Bret Smith pitched 5 innings and Andrew Martinez pitched one

This team has been very scrappy and played with alot of heart. I expect that they will take care of either Arkansas team then push Brazoswood to the limit.

Nederland lost to Arkansas, don't have details at this time, other than the ride is over for this year.

Nederland fought hard till the very end but it looked like they just ran out of pitching... great effort on a hot day from a very good team.  These guys are a class act and are coached very well - I have a lot of respect for you.  The host parents who kept the boys had nothing but good things to say as well. 

For the rest of the tournament...

Brazoswood wins over Arkansas 9 - 6.  Three run homer seals the deal late in the game for B'wood. 

B'wood advances to World Series in Glen Allen, Va. - Good luck boys!
