stevenash
No, it will probably survive. The main offender who, so often intentionally disparaged people harshly and was so reasonably and objectively likened to Dicky V has departed the board, thus allowing it to become a love fest between well reasoned republicans and affectionate democrats and basically a model of decorum. I can envision Kumbaya being sung frequently and a general sense of well being penetrating the forum. By the way, if I want to ask Dove a question in this forum, will I be allowed to start a thread that says" Dove, I have a question for you"? It's lucky for you that "nobody" saw your post entitled "Hunter brothers transferring to Ozen". I certainly saw nothing wrong with that but there are some who would have classified that post as "indecent, disrespectful and calling them out". My thinking is that if I mention your name , you are more likely to see the question and respond to it because I don't think it is safe to assume that you are reading every comment within every exiting thread on the board and therefore, might not see the question. I am not sure how they do it at Houston Yates, but in Kingwood, that is the reason for the success that they have had there. What makes it hard on them is the fact that they have built Kingwood Park and Atascosita High Schools, which are in essence, splitting the kids up. As far as the inner city programs, such as Yates, I don't think they have such a thing. One major advantage that I see you guys having at Hardin Jefferson is the fact that you get ALL of the kids that you are supposed to get..That makes a big difference.[/quote]Oh, yes a big difference. there are around 240 males in the entire school.
