Absolutely terrible. The most sickening aspect is that the little boy in the red Rangers jersey was his son.

The man who died was a firefighter in the area.  What's crazy is that one year and one day before, another Dallas-area firefighter was hurt after falling 30 feet trying to catch a foul ball at the Ballpark in Arlington.

A lady fell from one deck to another the first year (I think) "The Ballpark @ Arlington" opened. Seems like it wouldn't hurt to raise the railings a bit.

I thought the same but after last year's accident it was said that the railings at the ball park are actually 6 inches higher than regulation.

I just found that out also.  Horrible accident that I hope never happens again.
