Mid County Sr Babe Ruth 16's sweep the Regional tournament in Wharton. They defeated the host Wharton in the Championship game 9-3.

Michael Shaw (Ned) is awarded MVP of the tournament.

Since the 16 yr old division of Babe Ruth doesn't have a World Series, the season is over. This was a talented team and look forward to seeing these guys next year on their high school teams.
