Yes, but at the time, Humble was a 5A team.  But they dropped to 4A in the last realignment.  The UIL doesn't like to put schools in the same school district and classification in the different districts.

Seriously though I hope that HISD can turn this around to make a better school for these kids.

Humble ISD has 3 4A schools. KP, Summer Creek and Humble.

National news radio had the name wrong today broadcasting "Oak Forest ISD"will be possible closing end of this school year.HISD will have to figure how to educate over 7,000 students enrolled there.Voted academically unexceptable last 3 yrs and school is short lot of funds :( :( :(

[/quote] Yeah she always seems to think everything is racially motivated. It can't possibly be that something is just terribly wrong with how the school district is being ran over there. Doesn't matter what the race is. "The state's decision comes after years of financial and academic issues plaguing the school district. The district will have a substandard financial rating statewide for the fourth straight year, and North Forest High School will be given an academically unacceptable rating for the sixth year. Last year, only 31 percent of ninth graders passed the TAKS test. Of the 8,000 public high schools in Texas, North Forest High School is the worst-performing school."<----- THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH RACE. IT'S ALL ABOUT THE LACK OF LEADERSHIP. Just saying....

Yea she also accused the national weather service of racism because they had no "black" names for hurricanes.... ???

I really think it is time that someone step up and help out that school district. I say lets send them Dr Butch and Beaumont will just have to try and get by with out him. Just think how much they could save on electrical work too.  :-X
