liltex Posted July 14, 2011 Report Posted July 14, 2011 National news radio had the name wrong today broadcasting "Oak Forest ISD"will be possible closing end of this school year.HISD will have to figure how to educate over 7,000 students enrolled there.Voted academically unexceptable last 3 yrs and school is short lot of funds :( :( :(

It can't possibly be that something is just terribly wrong with how the school district is being ran over there. Doesn't matter what the race is. "The state's decision comes after years of financial and academic issues plaguing the school district. The district will have a substandard financial rating statewide for the fourth straight year, and North Forest High School will be given an academically unacceptable rating for the sixth year. Last year, only 31 percent of ninth graders passed the TAKS test.
