It's going to an asst., with Ira doing the coaching. I have said it in an earlier post, it will be done some how so Ira can coach. I said early Travis was going to memorial and Ira will be coaching silsbee next year, certified or not.

Are you serious?  There are multiple situations where a job offer gets turned down at all levels.  It wasnt that long ago that a guy popularly known as Coach K declined an offer from the Lakers.  Roy Williams declined the North Carolina job once before he later took it.  Shaka Smart recently declined an offer from North Carolina State- to name a few

When the Celtics won their title a few years ago, Tom Thibodeaux was the hottest commodity in the coaching market.  He turned down multiple offers because he wanted a chance to possibly be part of another NBA championship in Boston.  Couple years later he accepted the Bulls job and did very well.  So there is nothing uncommon/abnormal about interviewing and declining a job offer.

I will say it again.  Sometimes you don't know as much as you think you do. There are times when there is just more to it than meets the eye(or ear in your case). I know it is hard for the "ultimate insider" to not know things that he thinks he should know but it is just a fact this time.  I will leave it at that.
