Whats the head to head record for WO-S and Silsbee? I don't think you can consider them a rivalry.
PN-G/Nederland, Slisbee/Lumberton, BC/Orangefield, WO-S/LC-M, EC/HF, West Brook/Central/Ozen those are true rivalries more at stake than just the game.

Not many games between the 2 teams, (3) but there's no denying that Dayton and Brenham are both perennial powers and have made sure the the rest of region 3 knows it.  What might have given this rivalry in the making, what it needs to become a rivalry was the realignment last year.  It lines the 2 teams  up to meet in the 2nd round, rather than the regional final.  Which means the 2 teams have a lot better chance of meeting up. (considering both usually win their district and have to go D2) Not quite the big excitement of a regional final, but it will definatly be worth watching no matter when they meet up.
