While we have some dandy rival games down here it can't hold a candle to Permian/Midland Lee.A Permian player who helped them win a state title just now admits he lied and played in the game @ 23 yrs old ;) :o :o

Most heated small school rivalry hands down is Hull-Daisetta vs West Hardin !! Two whole counties shut down for this one. Liberty-Hardin counties. Been going on since the 50's !! 4 miles apart !! Man it's awesome !!

I have been to this game. You can combine the two sides and it will not make up half of the home side at either Silsbee or Lumberton on that same night and those two schools are in Hardin County. ;)

Not 2 counties but growing up and going to HD to watch Gene Walker I remember way back walking blocks to get to the stadium that was already full and 6 rows deep around the track standing room ;)

I wouldn't call it a rival, but the K-ville vs. WOS game is my focus when I look at the sched. The one that always gets me in the mood to watch a battle that could go either way....now we both have new HCs .....hope the intencity continues...love that game along with Newton and Jasper....don't wanna talk about Coldspring right now...lol :D
