Played very well in Houston tournament. 6'4 or 6'5 and can shoot the 3 pretty well. Plays good team defense. Should be a solid player next to sophemore post on varsity

The young man comes to Nederland by way of Las Vegas. His father graduated from Ned in 1974. Dad is retiring and was ready to leave Vegas. I expect the young man to be a starter and play along side Weisbrod as a shooting forward. He is 6'5" and about 185. Good ball handling skills and a good outside shooter. I have only seen him play 2 games. Lucky catch for English. Of Course, a good program will attract good players, when they are considering a move to mid county. Roll on Ned.  ;)

you've seen him play?? aggie?

I wasn't stating that he will be a JV player based on his skills but because the UIL has rules about transfers. You have to sit out a period of time before you can participate in varsity sports.

He is a move in from a different state, and is moving into Nederland, so he will be able to play rt away.

Not so. Silsbee had a move-in from Louisiana three years ago (Kendrick Jones) and he had to sit out a period of time before he could play varsity. He was not able to join the varsity until halfway thru district play in 2009, had to play JV until then.

Can't remember but I am thinking it was right after school had started so that maybe why he had to sit out of varsity for a while.

    • Uh oh MAGAS, any issues with this? Scott Bessent Seems to be textbook deep state with the soros affiliation.    Bond markets, and my investment accounts,  are liking the pick so far with rates down as investors breathe a sigh of relief. Reportedly he will take a softer approach to tariffs, which are inflationary and pass throughs to consumers, as all 1.5 of us on SETX know
