bobbymcgee
I thought former LCM coach David Williams was going to coach the team. What happened?

WOSgrad
I'll probably end up seeing the Lions before I see the Mustangs this year. Texas Christian is only about 3-4 miles down the road from me.

That didn't happen for some reason. CCS has a HC/AD and three assistants but they can't work with the team until Aug. 1st. They have another former LC-M coach working on fundamentals, route running, proper way to pass and catch the football. Just the basic fundamental that a 1st year program requires. 24 over par
i thought this would get a lot more talk looking forward to some local 6 man football
WOSgrad
Well, I am glad to see all of the pub that CCS is getting and I, too, am looking forward to their first game, which because of date and proximity, I'll probably be able to see. AlthoughAs for why it is not a bigger talk, 6man is a limited genre. In fact, the UIL only allows those schools with an enrollment of below 100, which according to the last numbers would leave only Burkeville and High Island as schools that play 11 man who could opt for 6 man. There are schools like Spurger, Goodrich and Brookeland who could opt for it, but in these economic times, probably would not opt for it.
