Guest Nederland Bulldogs Posted November 15, 2006 Report Posted November 15, 2006 WOW. I like Dayton's chances even better now.
Lucky Posted November 15, 2006 Report Posted November 15, 2006 WOW. I like Dayton's chances even better now. Yep, I look for them to polish off Crosby and move on.
Guest TravelingBandsman Posted November 15, 2006 Report Posted November 15, 2006 Well, La Marque is in an entirely different area in Region III. We wouldn't play them until Quaterfinals if both of us got that far.
youwish Posted November 15, 2006 Report Posted November 15, 2006 A few years back the same thing happened in Dayton and it was everywhere.. Everybody knew. I agree that it's public knowledge. It's not meant to hurt anyone or slander the kid who did it.. It's just meant as letting the community know what's going on. Hopefully it will prevent someone doing the same thing. Athletes have to realized.. a lot is riding on everything you do.. Both privately and publically...
PNG Proud Posted November 15, 2006 Report Posted November 15, 2006 Like it or not, when you're in sports (especially a winning program), politics or religion, you're going to be exposed...good OR bad. I'm sure they don't mind the publicity when they have a great game, and they KNOW the consequences of doing wrong too. It's unfortunate, and maybe this will be a wakeup call and he will turn things around, but like posted above....THAT"S LIFE!
Tiger90 Posted November 15, 2006 Report Posted November 15, 2006 The thing is this isn't a minor we have here. I believe state law will view him as an adult therefore no big deal in posting this.....it's public information. The kid knew what he had and what he was doing especially out so late.
tvc184 Posted November 16, 2006 Report Posted November 16, 2006 ........I believe state law will view him as an adult therefore no big deal in posting this.....it's public information.... You are correct. You are an adult for criminal laws in Texas at 17 years of age.
skipper Posted November 16, 2006 Report Posted November 16, 2006 This Is So Sad The Kid And His Familey Will Be In My Prayers Tonight I Do Belive Thay Need All The Prayers Thay Can Get. Thire Is So Much Trash Out On The Streets These Days To Make It So Easy For Kids To Get It GO MUSTANGS
the TRUTH Posted November 16, 2006 Report Posted November 16, 2006 He's 17. He knew he was breaking the law. He was probably selling it to jr. high kids. The world is a better place with thugs like this off the streets. No pity. His teammates are better off without a scumbag drugdealing loser running their offense.
CATS80 Posted November 16, 2006 Report Posted November 16, 2006 Hero one second, Zero the next Young people, It aint worth it
jake94 Posted November 16, 2006 Report Posted November 16, 2006 Tell us how you really feel, truth.. lol
iamthekingbee Posted November 17, 2006 Report Posted November 17, 2006 That is the kind of stuff you work so hard at keeping your kids from.Getting them in sports and off the streets and you hope and pray they make the right choices. It is really sad that a young man with so much talent makes a bad choice at such a young age and it ruins the rest of his life.
