Ball ought to join the EC / H-I scrimmage on the 18th, seriously. I realize EC (and H-I) are smaller, but it would be an easy trip for Ball, and something is better than nothing. EC would benefit from seeing some of Balls athleticism. Maybe split EC, with starters vs. Ball and reserves vs. H-I? Would work.

Lets see:

1) Ball has struggled a lot lately (thats about to change).
2) Ball needs a scrimmage (and no one has stepped up, AFAIK, so why scoff at it?)
3) Originally, 3A Jasper was coming anyway
4) Beneficial to EC to see Ball speed, while EC reserves good match vs. H-I. More total players on field.
5) Ball numbers are down (Ike, etc.), so numbers disparity not as great as you might think.
6) EC has winning, established program in place, will step up.
7) What would Ball benefit to sit home? Better to hit someone (anyone) else, IMHO.
8.) Easy drive to EC for Ball

Scalpem, so what your idea? Speak up if you don't like mine.

I actually like the idea, but it appears to be a moot point.

According to the schedule which was uploaded 3 days after playdefense's post, Ball will be in a 3 way scrimmage with Cypress Lakes and Fort Bend Bush.
