FF 1st run no gain,2nd for +3 yds,3rd he ran from 1 side to the other about 40 yds to gain +15.On a defensive note Clevelands DE-Cedric Reed & Brenham's CB-Rodney Hubert w/some nice tackles.Name I heard the most on the D was Matthews.Don't know if he is the son of hall of fame Bruce Matthews from Ft Bend Elkins 8)

Probably kin because Matthews does live in the missouri city/Sugar Land area on a nice piece of property. Where he lives at would be Elkins HS district.

I don't believe it was.  Bruce's second son Jake graduated in 2009 and his third son, Mike, is a senior to be at Elkins so there wouldn't have been any of Bruce's sons who would have been eligible to play in last night's game.  Also, like their old man, all three of Bruce's sons that have played so far are all offensive linemen.

      Defense did not play wet play well last night. It was the hiking the ball over the punters head and Huntsville score a touchdown was the dagger at that point we were within five points, we could’ve stopped them on defense and gotten the ball back and scored a touchdown and had lead it’s different story than defense will make some adjustments just like they did against PNG and sent all those Indians home early😂

      Can’t say enough about what Coach Breaux and his staff have done with this team. Started a little sluggish but that was expected. This team bought in to Breaux’s system and continue to get better each week. To win the DC in year 1 is impressive!  That’s something that has only been done one other time in the past 30 years in Orangefield. It’s not how you start, it’s how you finish!
